BLOOD FATHER (2016)
Mel Gibson's fall from grace has not seen him completely out of the movie world. Though I imagine he has to suffer distribution woes from his lack of star power. Playing a father-bear, that you really shouldn't poke to provoke, Mel is out to protect his daughter from drug dealers, ink some bodies as well as smash a few in the process. US Release Date: 26th August (2016)
LET US PREY (2014)
I can't remember how I bumped into this gem of a film, but what a find! It has moments that remind me of a less theatrical version of The Crow and director Brian O'Malley is definitely one to watch. A lone avenger has come looking for some unruly people, that have condemning secrets...he's come to play judge, jury and executioner. Available to rent, buy or stream.
THE CONJURING 2 (2016)

PAN-AFRICAN-CARIBBEAN CINEMA RELEASES & EVENTS
For films of the African-Caribbean diaspora that don't often get picked up by international distributors or have lengthy pan-UK releases, there are organisations that hold multiple screenings of such hard-to-see films. One such organisation is Black History Walks, who recently played both Dear White People and Nzinga - Queen of Angola this year. Below, is a timetable of upcoming events and screenings, including Battledream Chronicle's viewing. Click on the timetable to go directly to their Facebook page.

In  2007, a computer game called, Assassin's Creed was released by Ubisoft. 9 years later it is one of the biggest gaming franchises to date. Consequently, it was only a matter of time before the obvious cinematic elements that so easily lent themselves to being a film, became one - here it is. Expect sequels galore just like the game. Release Date: September 2016
SWISS ARMY MAN (2016)
A marooned man, who has given up on survival, comes across a dead body that reinvigorates his own will to survive. Using the body for all manner of survival (hence the title) we are taken on one crazy adventure.
