Placing attention on The Flash as our lead (and about time) Flashpoint serves as one of those alternative timeline stories that makes you think; what if? As in this universe the topsy turvy nature of reality will have Bat fans going; Nooooo way, Superman fans saying; What the hell! And Green Lantern fans asking if there was any point. As for the Joker - you will die at the realisation and you won't see 'his' origin story coming.
Suffice to say I liked this title, it's another great show of force from the DC universe where you are fortunate to see so many super-powered kind beating the hell out of each other to the ultimate climax of a fatality. There are so many characters in this feature that for me to even try and roll call is beyond my cerebral knowledge of the DC heroes and villains - not that it was ever that extensive anyway.
All I will say is arch nemesis Zoom is on the chess board and he playing a serious gambit. Aquaman and Wonder Woman are also very key to the proceedings, having the issue that might just lead to the end of the world. But there is also one other problematic hero who has no idea that he may just be the biggest villain of all.
Rating A Strong 8/10
