Is it wrong that even before the release of the final Hobbit movie I still long for The Silmarillion to be made?
The entire origin story of Sauron is probably the story of stories in the whole Lord of the Rings/Hobbit saga. Maybe someone can persuade Jackson to make it...yes..no...
Anyway in the mean time Bilbo Baggins, Thorin & the rest of the dwarves, the elves and Gandalf the Grey are set to throw down against...well...who are they fighting again? Oh yeah the dragon Smaug. But we've also seen the secret rise of Sauron and hopefully we will get to see the events that bridge The Hobbit and LOTR in more detail than was given in The Fellowship of the Ring Prologue.
