| Once again people are disrupting the legitimate campaigns in how you solve the problems of the ism's - sexism, racism etc, by arresting real progress with token gestures. Why is there this pervading idea, that if you take something that is well established and flip it to be an opposite (man to woman, white to black, straight to gay), that this gesture, that we know is mostly is for a marketing boost, some how promotes diversity and inclusion. You don't need to make the already established Thor a woman to attract female readers, what needs to be done is to create a brand new Asgardian character who is a woman, who comes with her own skills and mythology to garner her own following. And how about giving artistic and writing duties on the project to... hold on for it - here it comes: women. I know! Stone the crows, what a radical idea. I don't see the point of brand destruction in order to get a new demographic when it will lose you another. It's not supposed to be a competition of him Vs her? I'm sure the universe can handle both Thor and Thorita. If Thor wants to help, use him to introduce the new xx character and gain a following in joint adventures, before she goes it alone.
