I wouldn't consider myself a foodie and my blogosphere remit does not for one minute suggest any dedication to the critique of cuisine. But when you have gone to a restaurant and the food has really hit the spot, you just want to shout out to someone that they too should check out the place, which brings me to United Ramen in Islington - Upper St.
"...our waiter Jay being the most hospitable, sweet waiter I've come across in my life. "
It has been quite a long time since I have eaten out and enjoyed a freshly cooked meal. And it is to the credit of the establishment that the same meal in question came very quickly after ordering, was still hot on delivery (which is a lost art) and presented very nicely. On top of this, the service was excellent - with our waiter Jay being the most hospitable, sweet waiter I've come across in my life. He even went as far, as to print me a playlist of the music that was sonically cosying up the venue - which he explained was especially designed for the restaurant and well what can I say? It worked for my DJ ears.
United Ramen's prices are very reasonable and the decor adequate, but since the establishment is not the biggest space in the world, I'd advise anyone with a love for noodles to get in quick before United Ramen becomes a queue-orama drama, even for lunch times because the food is that yummy.
