At 51 years of age, especially when you've been doing hardcore martial arts and action films for most of your life, you might expect one to be slowing down, but not Donnie Yen, O know he's gearing up for overdrive.
I'll keep it brief, Mr. Yen has just signed up to do Ip Man 3 - yesssss!
Donnie is also currently shooting the next book in the Iron-Crane Series, set after the events of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The book is called Iron Knight, Silver Vase, but the working title of the movie is The Green Legend.
Donnie has also signed up for his first starring Hollywood role Noodle Man; playing an ex-cop with deep regrets due to a failed mission. But when a drug lord's goons infringe themselves upon his noodle shop he gets dragged back into action...as good-a reason as any to take on a drug baron. Newly added to the cast are Al Pacino and Robert De Niro...errrr how the hell made this happen? You don't get these two in the same film just like that!
