Following the worst sequel in the franchise, number 6 better be a hit!
For anyone that saw the fifth instalment of the McClane series, we all know that it was not only the worst in the franchise, but as a stand-alone film very, very poor. McClane looked like a lost OAP, the dialogue was awkward and klunky, the villains were…well pifff can you remember what they looked like or what they were trying to do? Nope, me either.
Hopefully with ‘Die Hardest’ the working title for what will be the last in the series (yeah righ) they will get back to the man, who
yippy-kay-yayed us for the first time back in 1988…yes its been 25 years since that New York cop was caught in the wrong place, at the wrong time, armed only with a white vest, a pair of trousers, his street smarts and a smarter mouth.
Recent details suggest that a retired McClane is going to be invited by the Nakatomi Corporation to honour him for his heroic services from the first instalment and somehow that gets interrupted and he is back in old territory.
