It's a sign of skilful story-telling and a greater respect for the intelligence of the audience, when an animated film doesn't patronise kids, yet can entertain adults on a different intellectual level. Pixar seem to have struck gold again with INSIDE OUT, a family drama that has us seeing the inner workings/emotions of our characters as they go through everyday family situations. I get the feeling that adults will get more out of this than the bambinos - who needs couples therapy.
DESPICABLE ME's favourite handymen/team-henchmen are back in a solo...or is that group adventure? Expect to laugh and put your face in your hands, as the search for the most despicable villain to serve begins...or is that began? Is this an origin story or what? Hello...
