People will complain when a mother tries to breastfeed her child in public, but breasts and the rest of the female body used to promote or sell goods in public, seems to be perfectly acceptable. If we were really mature about our views on sexuality surrounding the human body, nakedness in any form would not be such a controversial thing or immediately be connected to sex. But we can safely assume that as a so-called evolved species, humans have not reached that maturation point.
If a child saw a woman breastfeeding in public and asked their parents what was going on, I believe that most sane parents would feel quite comfortable in telling the child what was going on and may even refer to their own breast feeding, if applicable. But how do you explain the images below? I'm a grown man, I'm not offended by the pictures in the slightest, but as selling goes, these are designed to be arousing. Personally, it doesn't work for me as the campaigns are way too contrived, but when the child asks questions about this ad, what exactly do you say?

The sexualisation of non-sexual acts, (breastfeeding) shows us that many human beings, when they encounter any part of the body naked, can't help but make a link to sex and take offence with it. But then in reverse, deliberate sexualisation surrounding subjects that shouldn't be, are not only deemed normal but acceptable!
