With Facebook facilitating an easier access to streaming technology, are some of us headed for personal and business Armageddon?
Facebook have become the first of the social media giants, to make streaming accessible to everyone, all with the push of a button. I for one, like the idea that streaming can now happen with a greater ease and convenience. But, I foresee that same 'ease' leading to a number of online disasters.
I imagine, mostly by accident, that some of our future streams are going to be very funny to the viewer, with other scenes containing horrific shock value. Whatever it is, we are about to see social media as we know it, get a radical change and whether it is through sight, sound or both, here are the 5 most likely moments, you wouldn't want anyone else to see...

1. The Sex Stream
The most embarrassing, accidental situation that could happen? People tuning in, only to find you having sex. Remember, it only takes 2 touches of the stream symbol, to get it on, and with the way phones can be so sensitive to the touch, the bedlam that could come of spontaneous, passionate sex, may end up beaming a porn film to the masses. Can you imagine people logging in and picking up the audio-visual cacophony of you and yours bonking?! Just pray that you have good-enough friends, who would interrupt you with a phone call, rather than those type of mates, who would record it.
2.The Sting Operation
You could be a criminal plotting or in the middle of an actual crime. You could be a corrupt politician who likes to take bribes or a cop that likes to do the same or specilises in police brutality. By accident or on purpose, law breakers have now acquired a new enemy to their secrets. On the other side of the fence, undercover investigators and members of the public at the scene of a crime, just got a live and direct power-up.
3. The Failed Surprise
You're trying to plan a surprise, perhaps it's for a birthday, wedding anniversary or Valentines, when some numpty live streams the preparations. Or, in mid conversation, over nothing that was even related, that same person drops some essential information, forgetting that the person who is being surprised, could be accessing their stream.

Whether you are working in film, TV or the music industry, sometimes the concept for an idea is so good, that you don't want anybody else, except essential personnel to know. Instead of hitting record for the phone's video, some luddite has gone and streamed their entire idea...to the world at large.

If the lighting and stream is of a good-enough quality, why leave the comfort and confines of your own home when you can watch a concert, seminar or similar 'event' happening live, in your favourite chair. Question. Will streaming eventually diminish ticket sales? Or will a lawful edict, back promoters allowing them to be the only ones to stream?
