People are confused. Rap is the lyrical form that comes of Hip-Hop and other musical forms such as Funk and Jazz. James Brown, Millie Jackson and even boxer Muhammed Ali can be considered proto-rappers. But presently, not all rappers can say they are Hip-Hop...well nothing that pertains to its true foundations. So, not that long ago, I posted some song lyrics as my Facebook status. A friend reminded me, that the song and the album it debuted on, came out exactly 20 years ago. This prompted me to remember that a lot of classics came out that same year...
