For years Carlton Banks, played by Alfonso Ribeiro entertained the world with his geeky ways and in particular his dancing on the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. Here is the origin story as told by Karyn Parsons who played Hilary Banks on the show, as to where it came from.

No video existed and we thought that was just wrong!  In season 3's "Insecure" finale, Molly takes Issa to an outdoor cinematic event, where they are screening "The Last Dragon". Later on in that episode, a remix of the Willie Hutch song - "The Glow" from "The Last Dragon" soundtrack, can be heard playing, as Issa finally unpacks her stuff for the new apartment. It's a song of triumph, as Issa had been semi-avoiding cementing her change of circumstances since the beginning of the season. But in embracing whatever comes next, the song serves as a lyrically relevant declaration of a power-up for Issa and acts as a fanfare that she is ready to go forward.
